My first experience with the anime, NANA, was in japanese. I loved it and became an instant fan. ^.^

But I saw the first episode in English for the first time and it was soo....BAD. //-.-//

None of the voices match the character's personalities. I felt embarrassed for even listening to it, it's annoying....I think japan dub puts way more emotion into the character and in a way, "become" the character. I like watching anime in sub because Japanese is the way it was supposed to be seen.

I'm not that bitchy tho, if I can only find an anime in English, I'll watch it too.
But in this case, NANA in Japanese all the way. I'll watch an anime in Japanese no problem but I'm kinda choosy when it comes to watching anime in English.
If the actors are not engaged and infused with the character and story, the audience would be infused either. You have to make the audience FEEL what the character is feeling. I
